The Top 10 Recipes in 2021

I cannot believe this year is coming to an end. Wow!! It has been a particularly interesting one for me. First off, I changed jobs (for anyone who does not know, I also hold a job in the corporate space), and it has been a humble, new, and different learning experience with quite a few longer hours. We added to what I lovingly call our “zoo” with a dog that wants cuddles, training, nurture, and – oh so much patience 😂. I have also come to realize that I get a lot of my inspiration from going to restaurants and making healthier versions of the meals I eat at home. This has still, at times, been difficult due to everything that is going on in the world.

Nevertheless, I am so grateful for everything this year has taught me. I feel strong and more secure in who I am. I also know that we all grow with our individual challenges, whichever that means for each and every one of us 💚. And so, for this last recipe post of the year (I will take the next two weeks off to create new content for January and finish my food photography course), I wanted to bring you the most popular recipes in 2021. I have added a good 50 ones to the blog this year (!! 😱). Which ones were your favorites? I have put them below 🤗.

This Chinese Sweet and Sour (Sauce) recipe is one of my favorite comfort food ones!! I added this to the blog when the ligament in my thumb was ruptured and I had just gone through surgery. My husband took the pictures, which is the reason why they are creatively a bit different from my usual style. They may see a re-shoot in 2022. Nevertheless, the pictures appear not to have stopped you from enjoying the recipe 😋.

The recipe where I realized that I truly cannot apply sauce nicely 😂. . I am “creatively” saying that the sauce is meant to look this way… I mean it is also scattered over the sides right?! This Vegan Burrito Bowl screams flavor and Mexican inspiration. I, in particular, enjoy the crunch of the veggies and of course that zingy sauce, which brings it all together!!
